Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using GoHumanize

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using GoHumanize ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GoHumanize website and AI text humanization services operated by GoHumanize ("us", "we", or "our").

2. Description of Service

GoHumanize is an AI-powered text transformation service that helps users convert AI-generated content into more natural, human-like text. Our service includes:

  • AI content detection using multiple detection engines (Winston AI, GPTZero, Originality.ai, QuillBot, Grammarly, Turnitin)
  • Text humanization using advanced AI models including Anthropic Claude
  • Content analysis and scoring
  • Usage tracking and subscription management
  • Secure user authentication and data storage

Service Limitations

Our service has the following limitations based on your subscription plan:

  • Free Plan: 4 humanizations per month, 100 words per humanization, 10,000 words total monthly
  • GO Plan: 40 humanizations per month, 500 words per humanization, 40,000 words total monthly
  • LFGO Plan: 100 humanizations per month, 1,000 words per humanization, 100,000 words total monthly

3. User Accounts and Registration

Account Creation

To use our service, you must create an account through our Replit authentication system. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited Uses: You may not use our service for any illegal, harmful, or prohibited purposes.

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate, process, or humanize content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or invasive of privacy
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
  • Create content intended to deceive academic institutions or violate academic integrity policies
  • Circumvent AI detection for fraudulent purposes
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our algorithms
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the service beyond normal usage patterns
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or our systems

Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you submit to our service. We do not endorse, support, represent, or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any content processed through our service.

5. Subscription Plans and Payments

Billing

Subscription fees are processed through Stripe, our secure payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription.

Subscription Terms

  • Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or Stripe customer portal
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial months of service
  • Usage limits reset monthly on your billing date

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days advance notice. Existing subscribers will be notified of price changes and given the option to cancel before the new rates take effect.

6. Data Storage and Content Processing

Text Processing and Storage

When you use our humanization service:

  • Your original text is processed by our AI systems and third-party detection services
  • Text is sent to third-party AI detection services (Winston AI, GPTZero, etc.) for analysis
  • Humanized text is generated using Anthropic Claude AI models
  • Both original and finalized humanized text are permanently stored in our secure database
  • Processing metadata including AI detection scores, processing time, and iterations used are recorded
  • Usage statistics (word counts, humanization counts) are tracked for billing and limit enforcement
  • You can view, manage, and delete your stored humanizations through your dashboard
  • Session data is stored temporarily for active sessions and cleared upon session end
Important: Your humanized text and original input are stored permanently in our database unless you manually delete them through your dashboard. This allows you to access your humanization history and re-use previous work.

Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with several third-party providers:

  • Anthropic Claude: For AI text humanization
  • Winston AI: For AI content detection
  • GPTZero: For AI content detection
  • Originality.ai: For AI content detection (GO/LFGO plans)
  • Stripe: For payment processing
  • Replit: For user authentication
Important: When you use our service, your text may be processed by these third-party services according to their respective privacy policies and terms of service.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to our service. By using our service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and transform your content solely for the purpose of providing our humanization service.

Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, algorithms, designs, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by GoHumanize and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Humanized Output

The humanized text generated by our service is provided to you for your use. However, you acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection in some jurisdictions
  • You are responsible for ensuring any use of humanized content complies with applicable laws and policies
  • We make no guarantees about the originality or uniqueness of the output

8. Service Availability and Performance

Uptime and Availability

While we strive to maintain high service availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Third-party service outages
  • Technical difficulties
  • Force majeure events

Performance Disclaimers

We do not guarantee that our humanization service will:

  • Successfully bypass all AI detection systems
  • Produce content that meets specific quality standards
  • Work with all types of input text
  • Generate results within a specific timeframe

9. Limitation of Liability

Important Legal Notice: Please read this section carefully as it limits our liability.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOHUMANIZE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Academic or professional consequences from using our service
  • Damages resulting from AI detection of humanized content
  • Content quality issues or errors in humanization
  • Third-party service failures or downtime

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimers and Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement of third-party rights
  • Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Service
  • That the Service will meet your specific requirements
  • That humanized content will pass AI detection systems

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoHumanize and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Content you submit to the Service

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

GDPR Compliance

For users in the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have rights regarding your personal data, including access, rectification, erasure, and portability.

13. Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion features in your profile.

Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Use the Service for prohibited purposes
  • Fail to pay subscription fees
  • Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Any data associated with your account may be deleted according to our data retention policies.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by:

  • Posting a notice on our website
  • Sending an email to registered users
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date on this page

Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
